I thought it was about time I organised a local car meet to get some practice with my new camera and to get back into the car tuning scene again. It was really great to see the diversity of cars that turned up, from a 25 year old BMW 525e to a Subaru Impreza STi 5 Type R, all the cars were in great condition and there was a nice mix of tuning styles, from track orientated cars to stance focused cars.

All the owners were completely down to earth and it was a really good laugh, being around like minded people with a passion for tuning cars is always a good day out in my mind.

I took a trip up to The Lake District after work as the weather had really turned around and was looking promising. I was looking to practice some more star trails and long exposure shots, below are a pick of most promising photos. I’ll be going back again very soon only this time with more of a plan and more time at my disposal.

Today was the closest and brightest the moon will be this year, the so called supermoon. Tonight it looked pretty much like any other full moon on a clear night, but nevertheless I still went out and photographed it as best I could.
